Dr. Jon Slingsby, DC grew up in Newport Beach, CA and was raised to care for others.
As an athlete growing up, Dr Slingsby experienced several injuries.  While traveling
internationally for surfing and skiing, Dr Slingsby would always come home to a world class
team of doctors who worked together to treat his injuries. The unity between the Doctor of
Chiropractic and the Medical Doctor is ultimately what led him to pursue a Doctorate in
Chiropractic.
During his undergraduate years at the University of Oregon, Dr. Slingsby ventured to
New Zealand where he attended the Wellington School of Healing Arts.  The passion and skillset
to care for patients was developed in this climate.  He completed his Chiropractic Doctorate
degree in the San Francisco Bay area.  While attending the program, he pursued further
education in the fields of Functional Medicine, Sacral Occipital Technique, and Active Release
Technique.   These specialties allow Dr. Slingsby to provide comprehensive care to his patients
and manage an array of conditions. 
Dr. Slingsby has cared for patients internationally and here in Hawaii. He has treated a
wide range of conditions and has worked with an array of healthcare professionals.  Dr Slingsby
is looking forward to caring for the community of Hilo and beyond.
