Hello

My name is Sarah Coultas

As a naturopathic physician, Dr. Coultas, trained in counseling, stress management and biofeedback. Assessment of the patient’s social, environmental and lifestyle factors. These are a vital part of individualized healthcare

Homeopathy

This Is a gentle yet effective system of medicine is more than 200 years old and is based on the principle that “Like cures Like.” Homeopathy was founded by Samual Hahnemann in the late eighteenth century. It is use commonly in European and Indian hospitals. Homeopathic remedies are potentized medicine from animal, mineral or plant substances. They are highly dilute and work on an energetic level having a profound effect. In other words, giving a highly dilute amount of a substance, can cure the symptoms that would be produced from a large amount of the same substance.

Supplements/Nutraceuticals

Due to poor regulations on supplements, many online and mainstream products are of poor quality or contaminated with heavy metals – so we only recommend high quality, pharmaceutical-grade supplements. Clinical Nutrition is a key foundation for health. Adopting a healthy diet is often the first step towards correcting health problems. Dr. Coultas will assess your current diet to identify nutritional deficiencies and potential food intolerances or allergies.

Cranial Sacral Therapy (CST)

a gentle, non-invasive approach that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance. Using gentle touch, Dr. Coultas will assess your Cranial Rhythm and direct your body to rebalance this rhythm to release restrictions in the soft tissues that surround the central nervous system.

Shiatsu Massage

This is a bodywork that originated in Japan. It is a modified form of acupressure that involves pressing specific points in the body to reduce tension and fatigue by improving blood and lymphatic circulation. Shiatsu has its roots in the concept of Qi - the vital life force that drives all life activity. When it becomes deficient or blocked, symptoms such as fatigue, pain, headaches, digestive issues and other health conditions arise.

Women’s Wellness

Women of all ages for conditions such as irregular periods and menopause. If hormone-related issues are suspected, Dr. Coultas may order blood or saliva testing and may recommend Bio-identical hormone replacement therapy. Botanical Medicine is derived from plants with powerful healing properties. Dr. Coultas may prescribe herbal remedies, in the form of teas, tinctures, capsules, poultices or powders, for their healing effects and nutritional value.

Physical Medicine

This includes Cranial Sacral Therapy, Intuitive Bodywork, Emotional-body release work, Shiatsu Organ-Unwinding, Scar-Tissue Therapy, Cold Laser Therapy, therapeutic exercise, physical therapy, massage therapy, cranial sacral therapy and naturopathic manipulation of the spine and joints.

Cold Laser Therapy

This is a non-invasive type of treatment in which low-intensity light is applied to your body, typically over injured or inflamed tissue. Cold laser therapy improves blood flow and decreases pain and inflammation to injured tissues. The healing time and pain of soft tissue injuries such as bursitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis, muscle strains, joint pain, fibromyalgia pain, ligament strains and tendonitis improve with cold laser therapy.

Bio-identical hormone therapy (BIHRT)

This uses hormones that are derived from plants. From a biochemical perspective, your body can’t tell the difference. This means you can control the symptoms of perimenopause and/or menopause with safer, gentler alternatives to traditional hormone therapy. A hormonally balanced individual has the best opportunity for a healthy and productive lifestyle. Flower Essences are liquid, potentized plant preparations which convey a distinct imprint or etheric pattern of a specific flower that gently help rebalance our emotional and spiritual states.
